There are many types of arthritis, clinically common are rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Rheumatoid arthritis is more common in children and young people (under 20) with a history of upper respiratory infections. In the acute phase often accompanied by fever, sweating and uncomfortable fatigue. Characterized by waves of acute moving lesions in large joints manifested by swelling, redness, heat, pain; is prone to paroxysmal progression and heart damage. There are spots and erythematous haloes around the joint. The disease usually recurs, but does not leave a traumatic sequel in the affected joints. Laboratory tests show that the blood sedimentation rate is fast and the antistreptolysin "O" substance increases.

Rheumatoid arthritis is mostly seen in young and middle aged 20 to 40 years old. The onset is usually quiet; sometimes the onset of a fuss. In this form, the symptoms of arthritis in the early stages are similar to those of rheumatoid arthritis; The rate of blood deposition is fast, the antistreptolysin "O" increases. The disease usually appears in small joints, symmetrical damage, swelling and pain and limited movement. In the later stages, there is the phenomenon of muscle atrophy, deformed joints, the ability to stretch joints and reduce movement.

In some cases, the disease penetrates the same - pelvic joint, gradually spreads to the spine, then to the hip joint. Clinical signs: spinal stiffness and decreased movement, pain when knocking on the sacral joint; Pressing the pelvis will have a positive reaction. At a later stage, a curvature of the spine may occur, eventually complete stiffness of the joint. X-ray examination in the early stages shows loss of calcium in the outer part of bones and concentration of synovial fluid in the joints; through the later stage, the joints are narrowed and there is a degenerative state, the joint is destroyed.

Osteoarthritis - commonly known as hyperplasia or arthritis in the elderly, patients usually over 40 years old. Lesions usually occur in the lumbar spine, neck, hip joints, knee and finger joints. Examining joint pain and stiffness, this condition will gradually decrease with active exercise in the morning, but increase when tired, then relieved with rest - rest.
