Pathology of vasomotor rhinitis

Postnasal examination: the lower and middle nasal passages can be seen change, maybe edgy, smooth or overgrown, rough, discoloured, middle nasal passages often found edgy or with little mucus discharge.

Very common, although little attention is paid to our country, it was previously considered to be allergic rhinitis with no allergen. Today, thanks to endoscopy and a full understanding of the nasal sympathomimetic nervous system, it should be considered a disease and has increasing prevalence.

Diagnose

The disease usually progresses into episodes such as allergic rhinitis, which occurs when the weather changes, when the body is weakened, out of balance.

Mainly stuffy nose of varying degrees.

Someone experiences sneezing, itchy nose, often detected when cold, wet, exposed to steam, strange smell.

Nasoscope before: lower nasal curl is usually heavy, large, smooth, also with vasoconstrictor, no pale mucous phenomenon like in allergic rhinitis.

Postnasal examination: the lower and middle nasal passages can be seen change, may be edgy, smooth or overgrown, rough, discoloured, middle nasal passages often found edgy or with little mucus discharge.

To solve

Medical:

Local: nasal discharge, nebulized with vasoconstrictors and steroids.

Systemic: for antihistamine synthesis with increasing dose. If corticosteroids, then use gradually reduced dose. Sympathetic nerve suppression.

Surgery: cutting or destroying Vidien's nerve by heat or freezing through endoscopic sinusoscopy.
