Infancy

  • Meconium ileus.
  • Neonatal jaundice (prolonged).
  • Hypoproteinaemia and oedema.

Childhood

  • Recurrent lower respiratory tract infections.
  • Bronchiectasis (occasionally)
  • Poor appetite.
  • Rectal prolapse.
  • Nasal polyps.
  • Sinusitis (rare to have symptoms).

Adolescence

  • Bronchiectasis.
  • Diabetes mellitus.
  • Cirrhosis and portal hypertension.
  • Distal intestinal obstruction.
  • Pneumothorax.
  • Haemoptysis.
  • Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis.
  • Male infertility.
  • Arthropathy.

Psychological problems.
