Reason

Scarring of the eye is caused by an infected eyelash root, often with pus, causing the eyelid border to become swollen, red and painful. This is a very common disease.

Diagnose

Mainly based on direct eye observation.

Treatment

Use a soft gauze soaked in warm water over the eyes, or steam regularly.
