Peeling of the nail (Plummer's nails): signs of symptoms and causes
There is little evidence for the incidence of nail peeling in patients with hyperthyroidism. Other symptoms are likely to appear before peeling off the nail.

Frequent

Mechanism
Except for trauma, the remaining causes are of unknown mechanisms.
Meaning
